WHAT DOES LOVE HAVE TO DO WITH IT: PART II

clock February 22, 2010 20:24 by author jdwayne

What does love have to do with it?  Well, in order to answer the question, you must first understand what love is.  Love has only one Condition, to love unconditionally!  Pure love takes on acknowledgement; do you recognize the essence the true love? Better yet, is it being extracted by your walk as you confess to be lovely?  Love should be your name, you should embody it.  John 15:13 reads: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends”. Are you willing to die for the ones you love?  Are you really a true friend?  The love of a true friend is exemplified through self-abnegation and self- sacrifice.  So what secretes from you being.  Are you a man, or a shadow of a being?

Lent is best described as a season of Soul-Searching.  When was the last time you searched your soul? When was the last time you reflected on your present position, to determine whether or not you need a “Spiritual Alignment”? I admonish you my dear friend, minimize the distractions in your life.  Draw closer to God! Reconnect, Revisit, Recollect, Reminisce, Replenish, and Reflect for 40 days of things that hinder you from getting closer to God! Incite to Reflect and Search your soul!

~Let’s all LeNT to Repent…

What is love?  Seriously, what does it have to do with your salvation, redemption, deliverance, or even securing your residence in heaven? Honestly, what is the correlation between love and you obtaining life more abundantly?  Your answer: Love has to do with EVERYTHING! Had it not been for love, where would you be? Really the question has nothing to do with significance of love, as it does to you believing you are worthy of the LOVE.  Love is a gift, but it is not true love until you give it away.  Jesus did it; now, I dare you to love!

Are You Afraid To Work?

Why is it that we proclaim to be devout Believers, but are afraid to work?  How is it that we can work with a spirit of excellence in secular sectors, but refuse to operate in the same manner as it to our spiritual development? I dare you to work out your own salvation… after all, I was given to you; the least you could do is work for it!  Do you believe your salvation is worth working for?

Do you believe that you are remitted?

clock February 1, 2010 23:54 by author jdwayne

We must first understand what remission is; it deals with Sins that are remitted when the offender is treated as though the offense had never been committed. Remission allows entrance into forbidden territory due lawlessness.  See, this is very much different from atonement; which focused more on forgiveness by covering up sin.  However, with the arrival of Jesus, it dealt with forgiveness by the removal of sin.

So, if we really take a look at this: if God is able to remove things that have stop Him from getting to us; then we should be willing to remove the things that stop us from getting to Him.  This allows us to receive life anew…but we must first be willing to see  us as something new. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).  Ties so closely with forgiveness; why are you holding on to what God has let go?

Question 1: What are you holding on to?

Question 2: What does the blood mean to you?
