We must first understand what remission is; it deals with Sins that are remitted when the offender is treated as though the offense had never been committed. Remission allows entrance into forbidden territory due lawlessness. See, this is very much different from atonement; which focused more on forgiveness by covering up sin. However, with the arrival of Jesus, it dealt with forgiveness by the removal of sin.
So, if we really take a look at this: if God is able to remove things that have stop Him from getting to us; then we should be willing to remove the things that stop us from getting to Him. This allows us to receive life anew…but we must first be willing to see us as something new. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Ties so closely with forgiveness; why are you holding on to what God has let go?
Question 1: What are you holding on to?
Question 2: What does the blood mean to you?
